Bureau Veritas to Speak at SCMAO Annual Conference

Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce that Rick Horwitch will be speaking at the upcoming Supply Chain Management Association of Ontario (SCMAO) Annual Conference. The seminar will take place October 18-19 in Mississagua, Ontario, Canada.

Rick Horwitch, Bureau Veritas’ Vice President, Global Retail Lead and Supply Chain, will be participating in a panel discussion titled “Improve Speed to Market Without Compromising Compliance,” along with Tabatha Bauer from Staples Canada.

The SCMAO interactive full-day session will discuss key disruptive technologies, such as IoT, big data, mobility, and blockchain, and strategies to help prepare for them. The conference will also focus on the growing skills gap in Canada and will will look at your customer.

Rick has over has over 35 years’ experience in the consumer products industry, covering all facets of business – sourcing, sales, marketing and operations with companies such as Warnaco, Kurt Salmon Associates, and Deena. He joined Bureau Veritas in 2005.
