On September 15, 2017, the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) officially issued IEC 60598-1:2014+A1:2017 Standard on its official website, which means that the upgrade and certification of updated CB certificate/ test report for luminaries products formally entered into the countdown stage.

Construction - Updated technical judgement for clip mount test result.
Internal wiring - New table 5.3 for wiring dimensions.
Creepage distances and clearances - Separate tables for creepage distances and clearances.
Electrical Test
IP test - Added IPX2 test method.
Endurance test and Thermal test - Added test condition for luminaries for constant voltage or constant current operation not equipped with controlgear.
