Background

On 13 March 2019, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published three new potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) candidates (see table). After preparing dossiers for the substances, the ECHA has now invited interested parties to a public consultation in which they can provide comments within a timeframe of 45 days (until 29 April 2019).

A decision will be made as to whether the substances will be included to the ECHA Candidate List of SVHC after the consultation.
